When first starting out on freelancer you won’t have any reviews. Reviews will tell your employer how well you’ve done with past employers. Like I said when your getting started on freelancer your going to have to do some hustling to get those first few reviews and the way you’re going to get them is by having a high quality portfolio and biding on small projects between the range of $10-$20. Once you get your first job and review you’ll find it easier to get your next job. As your reviews and portfolio build up it will become increasingly easy to secure projects and you’ll be able to get much larger jobs. Another great aspect to freelancer is that you and your employer can keep in touch for future project. Many of my employers have come back to me with multiple projects that I didn’t even have to bid on. So remember that this will take some hard work but over time it will become easier.
